The Farmington Historical Society, Inc. is a not-for-profit local organization dedicated to the promotion and preservation of the Town of Farmington's rich heritage.

Founded in 1997 out of interest from the celebration of our community Sesquicentennial, the Society continues to add to its membership annually.

• Membership is granted to any individual/family paying the annual dues of the organization. Sponsor membership shall be available to any individual interested in an inactive non-voting paid membership and including corporate members. Membership is open to any individual who wishes to join the Society.

Dues are assessed as follows:

Single, annual $10

Family, annual $15 all adults and children sharing a single home

Junior, annual $3 any child wishing to join without being part of a family membership

Corporate, perpetual $100 (Sponsor)

Lifetime, perpetual $100  ( non-tranferrable)

• Meetings are held three to fours times per year, with the annual meeting on the second Saturday of March at the Town Hall. Other meetings are a Memorial Day celebration in Fillmore and an outing to a historic or interesting community place.
