Permits and Licensing .........

Recycling.........

A BIG Thank YOU to all who are recycling - your effort is greatly appreciated.   The more we recycle, the more aid we receive from the state, which helps lower our tax bill. The town provides recycling roadside pick up service by Veolia on the third Friday of each month. All materials must be placed at roadside for collection by 6:30 a.m. Please read Recycling Guidelines here.

Garbage Pick Up........

Garbage pickup is not provided by the town and residents must contract on their own with a hauler.  FREE recycling pickup occurs on the third Friday of each month.

Snow Plowing .......

We have received calls regarding people clearing snow out of their yards and pushing it across the road.  This causes problems not only for other traffic, but especially for the snow plows, when the snow hardens.  Plow the snow into a place in your yard. If you own the property across the road and plow it over there, be sure it is off of the road right of way and completely on your property.  Snow must also be cleaned up off the road if you do this.
